Dr. Bhaktiari, whose first name, Poopak, means peacock in Farsi, is fluent in three languages: French, Farsi, and Spanish. Born in Tehran and raised in Canada, Dr. Bahktiari has settled in the DC area with her husband, a neurology resident at Georgetown University. Dr. Bahktiari enjoys travel and particularly enjoys the DC area because of its tremendous diversity. MEP is pleased to have added physician with Dr. Bahktiari's passion for medicine and is certain Dr. Bahktiari will be successful within their expanding practice.
